Supported Housing

Supported Housing

Supported Housing is very important at Together Housing

Supported housing provides a safe and secure home that helps people to live independently and to achieve their aspirations. Together Housing has many different types of supported housing schemes, including:

  • sheltered and housing with care schemes for older people
  • schemes for people and families experiencing homelessness
  • refuges for women and children fleeing domestic violence
  • schemes for people with learning disabilities

We offer a range of supported housing schemes across the north of England.

Sheltered Housing

Sheltered housing enables older people to continue living independently. A scheme usually consists of self-contained apartments, in a safe and easy-to-manage setting, with a residents’ lounge for socialising and meeting neighbours. Many schemes also offer a 24-hour alarm that gives peace of mind.
