Drone video shows Rawtenstall development

Drone video shows Rawtenstall development

Demolition has got underway at a Rawtenstall development commissioned by Together Housing Group, in partnership with Rossendale Borough Council and Barfield Construction.

The development, at Spinning Point, Rawtenstall, was filmed by Prestige Promotions as part of Lee Ashworths Ltd’s  work to remove parts of the Town Hall, the Town Hall Annexe and former Police Station.  The footage, some of which is shot from a drone, shows the demolition work from a number of angles and provides a view of the space, which will feature a new bus station alongside a refurbished town hall.

Ian Clark, Director for Strategy and Communications at Together Housing Group, said investment in Rossendale was important: “Together Housing Group have a long history of involvement in Rossendale and we’re delighted that we can continue to contribute to this important work.

“This incredible video footage not only shows the work being carried out, but also illustrates the size of the project and how it will enhance the town centre.”
