Our Garden Competition winners 2018

Our Garden Competition winners 2018

As our long, beautiful summer has drawn to a close, so has this year’s annual garden competition. We were overwhelmed by the number of entries we received, as well as the breathtaking transformations that our tenants have been getting on with.

With so many lovely photos from each and every person who entered, our judges had a hard time voting for their favourites. Of the 55 entries we received, votes were broken down into categories to make scoring as fair as possible and scored out of a total of 120. After holding the judging on Thursday 20th September, we are pleased to share with you the judges five winners.

In fifth place, winning £10 worth of Love2Shop vouchers, is Terry Hogg from South Kirkby. Terry scored a total of 107 points out of 120 and here are some of the judge’s comments:

“Great use of space”

“Small space but beautiful”

“Wonderful colours”

In case you missed it, we also announced our competition winners on Facebook Live where we gave you a walkaround of Robert’s winning garden and even had a short Q&A. If you’d like to catch up, and watch our competition announcement in real time, you can watch the live stream here.
