Want to get involved and have your say about how Together Housing and your community is run? Then why not join the new Together Housing Facebook Group.

What is a Facebook Group?

Groups on Facebook provide a space to communicate with others about shared interests. The Together Housing Facebook Group is managed by the Resident Engagement team, and welcome any Together Housing resident to get involved in friendly discussions,  share ideas and feedback via this new online forum.

How do I join?

You will need a Facebook account to join the Group.

Go to: https://www.facebook.com/groups/TogetherHousing/ and if you are an existing user, you can sign in as normal. If you don’t have a Facebook account, you will need to click on the ‘Sign up for Facebook’ link and create an account.

Once you have logged in to Facebook, you can click on the green ‘Join group’ button. The Group is set up as a Closed Group, meaning users need to be ‘approved’ by a member of the Resident Engagement team (known as ‘Admins’) first, before they can access the Group. This is to keep the Group exclusively for Together Housing residents. Once approved, you will then be able to see discussions, post and comment.

Who can post in the Group forum?

The Resident Engagement team will regularly post and share content on the Facebook Group, such as opinion polls and short surveys, video clips or website links - and maybe the odd cute cat pic! Members of the Group are welcome to join the conversation, post comments and share ideas and give feedback about services. We intend this to be an interactive forum and everyone is welcome to participate.

However, we do ask that everyone respects each other, and as a general rule, treat people in the same way you would want to be treated in person. We want to keep the Facebook Group ‘clean’ and will remove any posting with foul or offensive language. We will remove any postings that we consider offensive, libellous or slanderous to individuals or groups and may be considered as contrary to legislation (e.g. Equality Act 2010). We will also remove any postings that could be considered by us as harassment or bullying; with the ultimate sanction of blocking an individual from this Facebook Group.

Who are the Resident Engagement Team?

The Resident Engagement Team are: Debbie, Saima, Melissa, Mo and Christine. Ross is the Digital and Social Media Officer for Together Housing.

The Facebook Group is actively monitored within business hours (9-5 Mon-Fri) so although we will try to respond as quickly as possible to requests and questions, some of our responses may not be actioned outside business hours.
