Update on our services

We would like to thank you for your patience and understanding while some of our services have been on hold due to the coronavirus. Following changes in Government guidance we can now safely restart some of our services and we want to update you on our plans.

Keeping safe

We are doing everything we can to keep our residents and staff safe. We have developed guidelines for our colleagues to ensure work will be carried out safely.

  • We will contact you before your appointment to ask if you are experiencing any symptoms or if you are shielding. We can always rearrange an appointment, so please let us know. We will ask again before entering your home to carry out any work.
  • We are following Government guidelines closely and our staff will wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) when it’s needed. We will also follow social distancing guidelines and practice good hygiene.

Emergency repairs

We continue to carry out all emergency repairs as they are reported as we have always done.

Routine Repairs

On 2nd June we started to tackle our backlog of around 10,000 repairs. To allow us time to catch up, any new repairs will receive appointment dates from 13th July onwards. You can report a new repair online or over the phone from 15th June. We expect a high demand from residents reporting repairs and we ask you to please be patient with us.

Gas and Safety Checks

We continue to carry out gas and electrical safety checks to your home when these are due. This is an essential safety requirement and it is important that your provide us access to your home for these checks to take place.

Helping our customers

We know that many customers have lost their jobs or have been furloughed. We don’t want anyone to lose their home, so if you’re struggling financially for any reason or can’t pay your rent for any reason, please get in touch. We have a team of advisors ready to help you.

Cleaning and grass cutting

Grass cutting is now being carried out at least once a month. Some of our cleaning services also had to be paused in some areas. These will restart on 1st July.
