Over 4000 residents surveyed

Over 4000 residents surveyed

In April and May, we asked residents for their views about our communications during the coronavirus crisis and its impact on some of the services we have delivered during this time.

We’d like to thank everyone who took part in the survey – we had 3978 digital responses and 407 telephone responses.

Generally, respondents felt that our communications had worked well during lockdown, with most respondents providing positive feedback when asked about the quality of the information they had received.

  • 88% said the information received was relevant
  • 90% said it was easy to understand
  • 89% said they felt it was up to date
  • 86% said it was reassuring and thought it was in-line with Government advice
  • 80% said it added to what they already knew

Senior managers are now using the survey findings to help with planning how we can respond to new local lockdowns or a future crisis. The report will be available to residents on our website soon.

Residents who took part in the survey had the chance to enter a prize draw and the winners of £100 Love2Shop vouchers were Mrs Willars in Halifax and Mrs Roscoe in Blackburn. Well done and thank you to everyone who took part.
