James is the tops

James is the tops

james is the topsTogether Housing apprentice James Taylor was honoured at Bolton College to celebrate national apprenticeship week recently.

MP Sir David Crausby joined successful apprentices in the College’s Signature restaurant for the awards ceremony.

James, who won the award for roofing, tiling and slating, said: “The award was really unexpected but I’m so happy to have won.”

James’s line manager, Eddie Handley, a Delivery Coordinator at Together Housing, said: “As an organisation, we have a very successful Apprenticeship programme so we’re delighted by what James has achieved.

“I’m thrilled that he has been recognised at these awards and it shows that hard work and determination can pay off.”

The ceremony was particularly special for Sir David; his path to success started with an Engineering Apprenticeship 55 years ago, and he has championed Apprenticeships ever since.
