We are delighted to announce the winners of this year’s Garden Competition.

Community Corner

This category was for a team effort looking after a community garden or an area of communal grounds.

First Place: Daisyfield Tenants Association, Daisyfield Flats, Blackburn

Second Place: Shaw Lodge Tenants Association, Halifax

Third Place: Bakersfield Court, Rotherham

Floral Borders & Gardens

This category was for those with a floral garden or blossoming borders.

First Place: Mr & Mrs Terry Hogg, George Buckley Court, South Kirkby

Second Place: Mr Robert Ingham, Forest Green, Ovenden

Third Place: Mr Samuel Semple, Bellbrooke Close, Barnsley

Mini Gardens

For entriers where floral arrangements are in containers, hanging baskets or in a patio or similar area

First Place: Mr Roy Davies, Harrogate Court, Doncaster

Second Place: Mrs Valerie Siddle, Willow Court, Halifax 

Third Place: Mrs Jane Freakes, Chestnut Court, Selby

Gardener of the Year 2019

All entries are automatically entered into this category. The winner of this prestigious award goes to…

Mr & Mrs Terry Hogg, George Buckley Court, South Kirkby

The winners each receive Love2Shop vouchers. First prize will receive £50, second place will receive £30 and third place £20, plus the winner of Gardener of the Year also wins an additional £50!
