Darwen project shortlisted for two awards

SELNETDarwen’s Reachout project has reasons to be cheerful after being shortlisted in the Selnet (Social Enterprise Lancashire Network) Awards.

The awards celebrate the work of social enterprises and the people who work within them across the county.

Reachout, which offers support to young people and families in the community, has been shortlisted in the Social Enterprise of the Year category for their stellar work.

Newground have opened other bases in Rossendale, Pendle and Shadsworth and these bases are using the same model as the founding base. 

The Reachout ethos is a strong belief that when given the chance, people can turn their lives around and have a positive impact on their peers, families and the community as a whole.

The awards ceremony takes place on Friday, April 28 at the Mytton Fold Hotel in Blackburn.
