Changes to your repairs service provider

We know from the feedback we receive from our customers that you value being kept informed and that the repairs service you receive has a big impact on satisfaction.

With this in mind we would like to update you on some changes to our repairs service that will be happening early 2020.

At the moment, the day to day repairs and maintenance services in some areas are carried out by Northern Shared Services (NSS). NSS is a partnership between Together Housing and Wakefield District Housing (WDH) and has been delivering these services for almost seven years. You will have received repairs from WDH employees because of this partnership arrangement.

As a group, Together Housing is now able to bring these services in house. This means that instead of NSS carrying out repairs and maintenance within your property, all services will now be delivered by Together Housing. This change will happen from 30th March 2020. We are making this change to ensure that all of our customers are receiving the same quality repairs service across the group. We can coordinate and manage property repairs and maintenance consistently and ensure that as a customer you receive the best possible service.

You may still see the same technicians but more Together Housing vans and shirts. As wecontinue to improve the way in which we deliver repairs services, we hope that you will see these improvements as one of our valued customers.
