In July 2020, the Housing Ombudsman published its Complaint Handling Code (the Code) that all Housing Associations like us must follow. As part of this, we must publish a self-assessment to let everyone know how we comply (or not) with each part.
We have now completed this self-assessment against the Code and explained why we believe we meet the requirements. Equally, where we have to say we currently don’t meet it, we have explained what we intend to do about it.
Members of our Tenant Scrutiny have reviewed this document and we have made several changes to it based on their feedback. It was then presented to, and agreed, by our Operations Committee, who govern and oversee what we do as an organisation.
