Do you want to make a difference to how Together Housing’s services are delivered to specific groups of residents? We are launching two new action groups:

  • a group for Black, Asian and minority ethnic residents
  • a disabled residents’ group.

Residents from these groups have told us they would like to be able to share their experiences with us about being a resident from a minority group. They would also like to work with us to improve our services for these groups. In response, we have set up these two action groups.

In the current situation, these groups will meet online via Microsoft Teams. The group for Black, Asian and minority ethnic residents has met once already. In this lively first session, lots of issues and ideas were raised and discussed. Everyone had plenty of time to have their say and we are acting on their feedback.

The disability action group is for residents with physical, sensory, cognitive or hidden impairment and will meet for the first time later this spring. Residents who are carers of relatives with a disability are also welcome.

If you want to get involved and help us to make sure all residents feel as safe and happy in their home as possible, please contact our Resident Engagement Team by e-mail to: involve@togetherhousing.co.uk.
