Home Owners are customers of ours who have purchased a property from us; this may be through Right to Buy, or a scheme such as shared ownership or rent to buy.
Through our website, you are able to make a payment to us, find out about your rent, service charges and lease, find the answers to a range of frequently asked questions and contact our Home Ownership Team.
The Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government recently announced reforms to make it easier and more affordable for leaseholders to buy their homes. This includes enabling leaseholders new rights to extend their lease by up to 990 years. We are aware of the changes and will be closely following Government guidelines on the changes. Our Homeownership team will be implementing any required updates to our policies when we know more of the detail and will communicate these to our leaseholders.
Update on our Services April 2021
Thank you for your patience and understanding while some of our services have been restricted due to the coronavirus crisis.
We can now safely lift these restrictions, following the Government’s ‘Roadmap out of Lockdown’, and we want to update you on our services.
Please be aware that we may have to change our plans if the Government revises its timetable for returning to normal life.
The safety of our residents and staff remains our priority so we’ll still ring you before any appointment to visit you in your home. Our staff will wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) in line with Government and public health guidance.
Repairs to Communal Areas
Depending on the lease, Together Housing may provide a repair and maintenance service for communal areas of the building, including for example cleaning, lighting, decoration, grounds maintenance etc.
From Monday 12th April, residents can report a repair to communal areas.
Grounds Maintenance and Estate Services
For residents who receive these services, caretaking and cleaning are operating normally. From April, grass cutting will follow our usual summer schedule of fortnightly visits through to October.
It’s ‘business as usual’ for our tree care team.
